Pork Lard – Organic Pasture Raised, Soft and Spreadable Pig Rendered Fat

Since going on a carnivore diet, I discovered how beneficial animal fats like tallow and lard are for health, as well as for the skin and hair! Lard is a semi-soft fat made from pork and it is dry rendered at a very low heat for several hours to keep all the nutrients intact.

It is made with 100% pasture-raised pigs from local farmers in Greece, and it's 100% FOOD GRADE without any additives. You can use it in your kitchen instead of butter or oil, or on your hair, skin, and lips as a moisturizer and sealant to trap moisture. It can be used on every part of your body!

Lard Properties:

• High in vitamin D and monounsaturated fat.
• Smoke point of 190°C (374°F), making it great for frying.
• Neutral taste with a slight animal scent.
• No trans fats, making it a healthier option than hydrogenated fats.

The fatty acids in pure lard have a similar molecular structure and composition to those found in the protective outer layer of human skin and in naturally produced skin oils (sebum). This makes lard highly skin-compatible, allowing it to absorb easily into the skin and hair, improving the protective barrier function, preventing moisture loss, and promoting healthy, youthful-looking skin and hair.
