Handmade Organic Whipped Tallow Moisturizer

Since going on a carnivore diet, I discovered how beneficial beef tallow is for health, as well as for the skin and hair! Beef tallow is rendered fat made from beef and it is dry rendered at a very low heat for several hours to keep all the nutrients intact.

It is made with 100% grass-fed organic beef from local farmers in Greece. It can be used on every part of your body including face of course! It's also perfect for those who suffer from eczema or psoriasis or have very sensitive and delicate skin.

Benefits of Grass-Fed Tallow:

Grass-fed tallow contains fat-soluble Vitamins A, D, E, and K. Additionally, the fatty acids in grass-fed tallow are similar in molecular structure and composition to those found in the protective outer layer of human skin and in naturally produced skin oils (sebum). This makes grass-fed tallow highly skin-compatible, allowing it to absorb easily into the skin, without clogging pores. It also improves protective barrier function, prevents moisture loss, and promotes healthy, youthful-looking skin.

Beef Tallow is Rich in:

• Vitamins A, D, E, and K: These are particularly nurturing for the skin and are only naturally found together in animal products.
• Stearic Acid and Oleic Acid: Found in the protective outer layer of the skin and in sebum. These fatty acids have moisturizing, softening, regenerative, and anti-inflammatory properties.
• CLA (Conjugated Linolenic Acid): Has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
• Palmitoleic Acid (Omega 7): The most active antimicrobial found in sebum. Palmitoleic acid is also a basic building block of our skin, but its production declines with age.
• Palmitic Acid: Aids in smoothing the appearance of skin while improving barrier protection. Its production in the skin also declines with age.

This tallow is not further processed and is only dry-rendered for hours. It is whipped and also contains organic cold pressed jojoba oil.  Organic Jojoba oil is a lightweight, non-comedogenic oil that closely mimics skin's natural sebum, providing hydration and balance.

Texture, odor, and color may differ each time. My tallow is a completely natural product made using the exact same procedure every time. Multiple factors can affect the final product, such as sunlight, seasons, water, or the type of grass the cows consume. These factors cannot be changed without chemically altering the product or adding toxic and unnecessary additives.

It has a texture similar to whipped butter and has a mild animal-like scent (if you choose unscented), but not an unpleasant smell. Tallow is safe and effective for every area of the body. Baby-safe and pregnancy-safe. It is readily absorbed by the skin due to its similar structure, leaving the skin looking radiant rather than oily.

Packed in a glass jar, made fresh to order —read why that matters.. Keep your whipped tallow balm in room temperature. If it does melt, don't fret. The balm is not ruined and can be re-whipped at room temperature or put in the fridge for a solid balm texture.

Note: Since it's preservative-free, avoid using it with wet fingers, as this can cause mold growth.

Shelf life: 6 months room temperature and 12 months in the fridge.
