How It Works

Unlike chemical sunscreens that absorb UV rays, this mineral sunscreen creates a physical barrier that reflects sunlight, much like a mirror. How to Apply Sunscreen Correctly

To achieve full SPF 30 protection, apply the recommended amount:

• Face & Neck: 1/3 teaspoon
• Whole Body: 1 ounce (about a shot glass)

Why Not SPF 50?

Zinc oxide provides full broad-spectrum protection by reflecting UV rays. However, higher percentages of zinc oxide can create a white cast on the skin and make application more difficult.
